This is the Vermouth that started it all. The first Vermouth we set out to make and spent 3 years developing and diving into winemaking and botanical extraction research. We uncovered techniques, botanicals and formulas from the great, long-forgotten, 19th-century Vermouth houses of Italy and North America. We combined this knowledge with a modern and empirical approach using incredible wine from the Cowichan Valley and a love for everything Apéritif.
This Vermouth is made in a traditional Italian Rosso Vermouth style for use in classic cocktails, but with enough Vancouver Island character to stand on its own over ice or with a splash of soda. 16%
We precisely blend our Wildflower Traditional Mead with the 2013 Schönburger from Venturi-Schulze Vineyards in the Cowichan Valley and spirit from Stillhead Distillery in Duncan. We then add 32 different botanicals.
