This is a blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon that saw very little skin contact, resulting in a pale, orange-tinged rosé. This has flavours of strawberry, grapefruit, under-ripe red plum with some mineral and creamy notes. Having chicken salad sandwiches or BLTs for dinner? This would pair nicely. Vegan? Try a pulled jackfruit sandwich. 

As the back label explains, this is a tribute wine in honour of Chuck Eggert, Bill's brother and an integral part of Fairview Cellars who passed away just before harvest 2018. In addition to his work with Fairview, Chuck was known for his ski prowess, and for cutting runs on the local ski hill, hence the name of the wine.
